3 beach destinations to visit when travelling in South Africa:

1. Mossel Bay, CA

The harbour town of Mossel Bay is a picturesque beach holiday destination, loved by both adrenaline junkies and those looking to relax and unwind. If you fit the former group, you won’t want to miss out on thrilling land and ocean adventures, like shark-cage diving, big-wave riding,  skydiving, parasailing and sandboarding. And if you're down to chill, you can lounge on the pristine beaches, go on boat rides, play a round of golf, and indulge in the local food scene. Mossel Bay has some great places to dine, including steak houses, sushi bars and cafés. Foodies, you’ll never go hungry! (Consider our Mossel Bay holiday homes for your next trip – Elgin House and Vista Bonita.)

2. St Lucia, KZN

Calling all animal lovers! If you’re keen for a game ride in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, why not set up camp at seaside St Lucia? (Not literally, we do have beautiful lodging available.) The wildlife in the park is truly spectacular, so remember to bring your cameras along. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot giraffes, buffalos, cheetahs, zebras, kudus – and even lions. And that’s not all! Our St Lucia holiday home has a resident hippo who lounges next to the porch, and we’ve fondly named him Harry. (Discover the Bridge.)
