Our favourite things to do in St Lucia
Take it back to the beach
St Lucia’s beautiful beaches are the perfect place for a family outing or lazy afternoon with friends. Cape Vidal beach is a favourite among holiday-makers, and offers fantastic fishing and snorkelling opportunities. Who’s keen for some fun in the sun?
Go by boat
Cruise along the St Lucia estuary and get up close and personal with the resident hippos and crocs, and see how many species of birds you can spot. Trust us, you won’t want to leave your camera at home for this one! A pair of binoculars would be handy to bring along too.
Escape to the wetland
Keen for an active adventure? Then why not book to go on a guided walking safari along the eastern shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park? There are plenty of animals to see en-route, like zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, and warthog – if you’re lucky you might see them all.
Spot the Big 5
Keen for a game drive or two? Spend a day with our majestic Big 5 and many other treasured species, like giraffes, cheetahs and wild dogs, at the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park. The game reserve is about an hour away from St Lucia, so a trip there would be worth your while.
